Miranda-Johnston
Cross-Cultural (MJCC) was founded in 1998 by Rossana Miranda-Johnston. She has lived and worked in international and cross-cultural environments for over twenty-five years.
Rossana Miranda-Johnston entered the field of cross-cultural communication and training in 1992, initially focusing on the business cultures of her native Mexico and her adopted country, the United States of America. Since then, Ms. Miranda Johnston has gained experience working with many other cultures in wide number of industries.
At MJCC, we understand that human behavior and culture cannot be understood through a simple list of “do’s” and “don’ts.” Rather, we design and customize programs that help individuals, teams and companies achieve a better understanding of their employees and clients who are of different cultures and/or speak different languages. This approach provides long-term benefits for all involved.
MJCC offers coaching, training, cross-cultural and business consulting and programs tailored for many industries and individuals working in or with Mexico, as well as in and for the following countries: in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.
We work in collaboration with many experienced coaches and cross-cultural trainers and facilitators drawn from business, medical and academic backgrounds. This network of facilitators brings together a unique blend of languages, education, conceptual and practical applications, and international work experiences.
Our clients include a variety of Fortune 500 and 100 companies, governments and non-profits in the United States, Europe, Canada and Latin America, including: Amgen, Apple Corp., ArcelorMittal, Archer Daniels Midland, Bell Atlantic, Cargil, Caterpillar, Consulado de Mexico en Denver, Covidien , DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, Ethicon, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Federal Express, Gates Rubber Co., General Motors Mexico, GMAC, Hewlett-Packard , Honeywell Aerospace, Intercambio de Comunidades, Kraft, Kyocera America, Inc., Lehigh Portland Cement, Louisville, CO Government, Lowe’s, Lucent Technologies, Mexican Cultural Institute, Millipore Corporation,, Minera Kennecott, Motorola, Navistar International, Nestle, Nordson Corporation, NOVAMEX, Oatley Co., Pepsi Co., Philips Lighting, México and USA, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Rohm and Haas, SBC Communications, Schering Plough, Scotiabank-Inverlat, Siemens, VDO Automotive, Sprint, Universidad Tecnológica de Tula, Volkswagen, Wal-Mart de México, Washington Group International.

“Your sessions have had more impact on the integration of the two companies than any other effort in the whole company has had.”
“ [X person] was so inspired yesterday after your program that he took out his direct reports after the class to re-build relationships and set new work standards. That is why I came to the program today.”
“The models of delegation you shared with us have worked very well in my job. Thank you!”
“The following day I used what I learned in your program to run our meeting. There was an immediate impact. Now, I need to fine tune it and let people get used to our new way of running meetings.”
“My wife and children are very happy that I am taking these programs with you. They say I am a better husband and father, thanks to the company.”
